Once the VU-Meter circuit is fully assembled, one of the final steps is to extend the left and right bar graph channels
using ordinary 20 pin IDE cabling with green and red LEDs. In order to protect the circuit inside the case, I picked up
a small black project box from a local Radio Shack. The goal is to drill out the necessary openings for the power cable,
bar graph IDE cables as well as an audio jack.

I placed the VU-Meter circuit inside the project box and measured all the necessary openings accordingly. A sanding bit
attached to a Dremel Multipro5 was used to sand down the left and right hand sides. A small piece of plastic bubble
wrap was placed on the bottom of the project box for insulation. After a few test fits, I confirmed that the VU-Meter
fit perfectly and attached all the necessary cables to the circuit.

The PC VU-Meter Kit provides some additional features over the original VU-Meter Kit that was installed in the Hi-TEK
PC-60 Case. With this particular model BSquared has added some new features which include a Power LED as well as the
option for mounting an external ON/OFF switch. I wanted the VU-Meter to be powered at all times so I didn't bother
mounting the external switch option. The top panel of the project box was drilled with a 1/4" drill bit to install a
high intensity blue LED which will provide a visual indication that the VU-Meter is powered. An old speaker cable
was soldered directly to the VU-Meter PCB and the opposite end attached to the LED.
