Towards the lower portion of the front bezel there is a nice 80mm front intake fan to cool your hard drives. The fan mount has actually been laser cut into the form of a standard fan grill. It would have been nice if this portion had been completely cut away in order to maximize intake airflow. In order to keep the case stationary, the BT-80 uses circular feet that resemble the same type of setup used on most Cooler Master cases. All feet are coloured black and accented with a nice gold highlight and can be easily removed by unscrewing a center screw.

One of the nice features of the BT-80 is the inclusion of dual USB and one Firewire port. The front ports are ideal for consumers who utilize components such as digital cameras, camcorders, scanners and joysticks and don't want the hassle of connecting any cables to the back of a case. The ports are situated on a small PCB, which has been secured to the bottom of the case. The BeanTech website did not provide any additional information on the compliancy of the USB ports, I can only assume that both ports are USB 1.1 compliant.

The cables for the USB and Firewire ports are silver braided wires and in order to connect them requires the addition of a Firewire card and internal USB headers. Users should consult their motherboard manual for the proper instructions on how to connect the USB pins to the internal USB headers. A side profile shot demonstrates how thick the side panels and front bezel are as well as shows how each panel is connected by a M3 9mm screw.
