Both the left and right side panels on the BeanTech BT-80 Clear Acrylic Computer Case are removable. In order to gain access to the internal chassis requires the removal of four screws. Once the screws have been removed, the panel bends slightly forward which allows it to be removed with ease. The design of the four external drive cages is really well done and works identically to a standard ATX case. There are a series of pre-drilled mounting holes, which line up perfectly with any drive installed into a drive bay.

The design of the PSU mount inside the case is good but not great will create some obstacles and a level of frustration for consumers who use dual fan PSU's in their system configuration. A PSU support panel which has been secured to the back portion of the case blocks air vents or the accommodation of a secondary PSU fan. This can be corrected by reducing the amount of clearance space using a dremel but it is certainly something that BeanTech International should address in future designs.

A total of 5 internal 3.5" drive bays are located towards to the bottom portion of the case and are suitable for consumers who wish to install multiple hard drives or RAID array hard drive configurations. The drive bay design does not require positioning two screws with spacers as I previously experienced when mounting hardware inside the ClearPC. Installing hard drive components is very natural and only requires positioning the drive into the appropriate slot and securing it with the right mounting screw. In order to mount any type of motherboard requires installing a series of plastic motherboard stand-offs. Once you have determined the amount of stand-offs required, the next step is to proceed with mounting your hardware.
