The front bezel of the Kingwin KT-436BK-WM Aluminum Case features 4 external 5.25" drive bay slots that can handle any type of computer configuration. All the bay covers are manufactured out of aluminum and sport the same anodized black colouring as the exterior. The surface of each drive bay cover is perfectly flat and suitable for mounting existing pre-made devices such as LCD's, monitoring devices, mobile racks or fan controllers. Underneath the external 5.25" drive bays are three accessible external 3.5" drive bay slots, which are suitable for mounting floppy devices.

Towards the right hand side of the 3.5" external drive bays are the Power and Reset buttons as well as the Power HD activity LED's. The Power button is oversized and as previously mentioned has a chrome reflective look and appearance. If you look very closely you can see my image being reflected back as I photographed this portion of the case. There are also six oversized chrome screws which secure the acrylic panel to the aluminum panel. I will demonstrate how this function is accessible later on in the review.

The bottom portion of the case features several ventilation holes which have been pre-drilled in order to draw the appropriate amount of air into the case via two front intake fans. Underneath the ventilation holes is a front port expansion panel. The front port expansion panel is excellent and includes 4 x USB ports, 1 x 1394 Firewire, 1 x earphone, and one microphone jack. The ports are connected via a series of extender cables which reside inside the case and must be connected to the appropriate components prior to use.
