The Dremel MultiPro 395 is simple palm sized electric motor attached to a rotating shaft. The
versatility of the MultiPro 395 comes from the fact that it can be wielded like an engraving tool
and has a larger number of add-on accessories and attachments. As an all-purpose tool the Dremel
MultiPro 395 is capable of being used with different attachments which include abrasive wheels,
drill bits, wire brushes, polishers, engraving bits, router bits, and standard or re-enforced
cutting wheels. The MultiPro 395 features a re-designed click and set-on setting which allows you
to match the speed of your existing job as well as a new comfort grip housing for better control
and handling.

The front portion of the Dremel MultiPro 395 features an easy to remove collet nut which allows you
attach different add-on accessories. The small silver button which you see pictured is known as the
shaft lock button. The shaft lock button locks the collet nut in place when the dremel is in use,
once pressed the collet nut can be removed using a collet wrench for maintenance. One of the
greatest assets of the MultiPro 395 is the adjustable speed settings. In previous models the highest
speed setting was 30,000 RPM's; with the new 395 model Dremel has increased this speed to 35,000
RPM's. The speed settings provide a great advantage for custom jobs over traditional drilling tools.
The emphasis for the adjustable settings means that speed combined with an accessory mounted in the
collet nut does all the work for you, even cutting the hardest piece of metal.

The rear portion of the MultiPro 395 features several ventilation openings which are also mirrored on
the front. The ventilation openings assist in keeping the electronic motor cool when the tool is in use.
A small metal clamp known as a hanger clip is attached to the base of the tool which allows this product
to be conveniently mounted on a wall. Once the collet nut has been removed, you get a closer look at
the housing cap and keyless chuck. The keyless chuck holds various accessories and uses different shank
sizes ranging from 1/32" to 1/8". The keyless chuck is the portion of the dremel which allows you to
interchange add-on accessories quickly and very easily.
