MODTHEBOX would like to thank Elise from Aspire International Corp
for providing the TurboCase X-Dreamer Mid-Tower Case for review.
Introduction:
With more and more manufacturer's offering economical pre-modded solutions, there are a few small
luxuries that can make or break a case. Consumers now have a wide variety of different features which
define overall case characteristics such as pre-modded windows, front port extensions, fan
controllers and built-in thermal probes. Aspire Int'l Corp founded in March 1999 is a relatively new
comer to the case market having branded their own series of custom products under the names of Turbo
Case, Turbo Server and Turbo Gamer. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be taking an exclusive look at the
latest product offering from Aspire, the TurboCase X-Dreamer. A product which features an pre-installed
side window with 80mm LED fan, front port extensions and a back-lit temperature sensor.
Specifications:
The TurboCase X-Dreamer Mid-Tower Case is one of many consumer based cases offered by Aspire
International Corp and comes complete with all the functionality found in more expensive models. The
specifications of the X-Dreamer are simular to that of your classic mid-tower case and is generally
suited for consumers looking for a complete pre-modded solution. Here are some of the case
specifications taken directly from the Aspire International Corp website:

The TurboCase X-Dreamer Mid-Tower Case arrived in a double-walled corrugated cardboard box with the case
name and manufacturer’s logos printed on all sides. The case was sealed in protected plastic with two
pieces of polystyrene located on top and bottom to prevent any shock damage during shipping. The package
itself was a little worn shipping directly from USA to Canada, but my initial impressions upon opening
the box were positive.

Once free of the packaging, I noted that the front acrylic as well as the side panel window were covered
with protective clear wrap. The clear wrap was used to keep the acrylic clean from dust and fingerprints
while assembling the components prior to shipping. The dimensions of the TurboCase X-Dreamer are
6.75" (D) x 8.25" (W) x 16.75" (H) with a weight of 7.2 kilograms which is consistent of most aluminum
based mid-tower cases on the market. The TurboCase X-Dreamer is available in two different colour
variations, silver which arrived for review and stock black. During my initial inspection, I did notice
a small dent located on the left side window panel which also extended to the chassis as well. This was
no fault of Aspire Internatonal Corporation since they have no control over shipping and handling by UPS.
