Bubble Light 3-position switch

The 12V driver is encased into a small black protective housing. The underside of the housing features an adhesive strip for mounting. One end of the 12V driver features two connections; each for a set of Dual Bubble Lights, the power feed and 3-position switch reside on the other end. The 12V Driver is capable of powering 2 sets of cathodes for a total of 4 cathodes and can be used in conjunction with the Sonic Driver sound activation module that will be featured a little later on in the review. The included 3-position switch takes on a rather simplistic design and comes pre-soldered and covered in heat shrink. The switch is used to channel through the 3 supported modes of ON, OFF and Blinking. Absent from the package was any sort of template or mounting hardware for the switch. In my opinion, a more subtle approach would a simple push button switch with a quick disconnect.

Bubble Light 4-pin Molex connector

In order to simplify the connection of wires, the FlexiGlow Dual Bubble Lights use a series of quick snap connections throughout (with the exception of the 3-position mode switch). The Flex Glow Dual Bubble Lights obtain power via a 4-pin Molex connector that has also been outfitted with quick snap connections.

As a bonus, FlexiGlow has included the Sonic Driver in the review package. The Sonic Driver brings sound activation capabilities to the FlexiGlow Dual Bubble Lights and can also be used in conjunction with other lighting products from the FlexiGlow line up. Consumers should note that this is not included as a standard part of the default package and will have to be purchased separately. The Sonic Driver ships in a clear plastic bag with the contents safely bubble wrapped. Included in the Sonic Driver package is the unit itself with built-in microphone, knob control unit, a Molex adapter and an instruction sheet.
