MODTHEBOX would like to thank Sugmin from Samsung Canada
for sending the Samsung SP1203N 120GB Hard Drive for review.
Introduction:
Those who follow MTB regularly know that its staff members have had postive experiences with most Sunbeam products. Each time
Sunbeam has entered a new niche of the modification market, we have fully evaluated their products from top to bottom and in
some cases awarded MTB's coveted Seal of Approval. The company has recently decided to expand their product line, this time
entering the acrylic case consumer market. Given the extreme popularity of Canadian manufacturer ClearPC, Sunbeam is once again
in a position where they are out to prove they can one-up the competition. Today, in the MTB Labs, we will take a look at the
Sunbeam AC-C Acrylic Mid-Tower Case.
Specifications:
The Sunbeam Acrylic AC-C Mid-Tower Case is available in three different colour variations (clear, blue or red-tinted). The unit
ships in kit form and includes all the necessary tools to assemble the case. The case combines solid construction with great
aesthetics and excellent ventilation. In Canada, Tradex Information Systems is the official supplier of Sunbeam Acrylic cases.
Here are some features and specifications taken directly from the Sunbeam website:

The unit ships in a corrugated cardboard box with a plastic handle installed on the top panel. The unit is plainly
labelled "Acrylic PC Case", with the Sunbeam logo and URL as the only other demarcations. As was previously mentioned,
the unit ships in kit form. This makes the unit safer for shipping damage and also cuts down on the overall size,
thus reducing shipping costs. Opening the box, the acrylic panels are found snugly packed between polystyrene, with
each panel individually bagged in light styrofoam packing. The balance of the unit ships in a second cardboard box.

The end user is required to assemble the product, and all necessary components are provided, along with a set of cotton
gloves to protect the panels from scratches or fingerprints during assembly. The included documentation is excellent,
with photos of each individual piece identified, and a straightforward 6-step installation process. Although the unit
ships with a wide array of components, the installation itself is relatively straightforward. In fact, putting the case
together proved to be quite an enjoyable experience. As such, I decided to document the process to show how easy the assembly
is.
