MODTHEBOX would like to thank Tony from Cooler Master
for sending the HHC-001 CPU Cooler for review.
Introduction:
When you think of the word Cooler Master, what comes to mind? Cases? Case fans? Hard drive coolers? By and large, the
majority of us would answer heat sink fans. That’s because for over 10 years, Cooler Master has been synonymous with
CPU cooling and our friends in Taiwan haven’t been resting on their laurels. The recent release of the new HHC-001 CPU
Cooler with heat pipe technology proves Cooler Master is still providing new solutions to keep your CPU cool. Today in
the MTB labs we turn up the heat on this hot new cooling product.
Specifications:
The heat sink fan is designed for use with AMD Duron, Athlon and Athlon XP processors using the Socket A and Socket 462
design. It is also compatible with Socket 370 Intel Pentium III Coppermine, Tualatin and Celeron chips. Here are some of
the product specifications taken directly from the Cooler Master website:

Opening the product, the eye is immediately drawn to the two copper pipes protruding from the side of the heat sink.
The unit includes a 60mm fan sporting the Cooler Master label which is protected by a chrome fan grill. A 3 pin
motherboard connector provides power to the unit and allows for RPM monitoring. Rounding out the features is a large
retention clip running through the heat sink to secure the unit tightly to the CPU socket.
