Once the security lock is opened, the front panel features a swing away door which reveals the external drive bays. A total of 4 x 5.25" drive bays and 2 x 3.5" external drive bays are provided to handle any type of computer configuration. Towards the right hand side of the case are the LED placements for Power and HD as well as an oversized Power Button and smaller Reset button.

The Thermaltake Xaser III V1000D Super Tower Case includes a pre-modifed window on the left side panel. The window deploys no complicated design and uses 11 push-in pins to support a sheet of clear acrylic that is aligned on the inside of the case. As an alternative consumers can order with case without the pre-modified window for a stock case look or to incorporate their own custom window design.

The bottom portion of the case features four plastic feet which swivel 90 degrees to keep the entire unit stationary. One single 6-32 threaded screw is positioned in the center portion of each feet, which is secured directly to the case chassis. As part of the package, the Thermaltake Xaser III Super Tower Case includes an ATX I/O backplate, tie wraps, thermal probes, 3 to 4-pin adapters, motherboard stand-offs, fan filters and a series of 6-32 mounting screws.
