The Yeong Yang YY-5601 Mid-Tower Case includes all the essential components integrated into the top portion of
the front bezel. This type of design will definitely appeal to consumers looking for a low profile LAN style
case which provides easy access to front mounted ports. The YY-5601 includes headphone, microphone, dual USB 2.0
compliant and IEEE 1394 Firewire ports. Towards to right side of the bezel is a power button, small reset switch,
standard Power and HD LEDs. The power button is oversized and provides quick access for powering on a fully
installed system with ease. Located underneath the front mounted ports is an external 3.5" drive bay that has
been designed specifically for mounting a floppy drive. With portable storage devices such as card readers, flash
drives and USB key rings becoming the norm, it was sad to see that Yeong Yang integrated a floppy bay into the
bezel design. I would have preferred to have seen a standard 3.5" external bay not integrated into the bezel
which provides a more practical solution who those individuals who don't use floppy drives in their standard
computer configuration. This area could have been better suited for mounting an alternative 3.5" device such as a
fan controller, LCD or card reader.

The Yeong Yang YY-5601 Mid-Tower Case features a swing away front door that shields the drive bays when not in
use and maintains the polished look of the case. A total of 4 x 5.25" external drive bays are available to handle
any type of computer configuration. The top portion of the swing away door includes a built-in stealth mode feature.
This feature works by installing a CDROM drive in the very first 5.25" drive bay, which will sit directly behind
the front bezel. The drive cover is spring mounted and has an additional button that will align with the location
of the eject button on the CDROM. When the eject button is pressed, the front panel is then flipped in a downward
position to expose the CDROM tray. While this feature will work on 80% of the optical drives currently on the
market, slot load CDROM owners unfortunately will not be able to benefit from this feature. The bottom portion of
the case includes Yeong Yang's newly designed air filtration system, which assists with case cooling performance.

There are three Venetian style blinds that angle at 45 degrees to allow maximum air circulation for the front
fan intake. The blinds can be opened or closed manually when it’s most convenient to cool down case temperatures.
Behind the Venetian style blinds is a washable air filter that aids in keeping dust from entering inside the case.
