The design Samsung SyncMaster 152MP TFT-LCD Monitor moves away from a traditional metal bezel to support the
weight of the unit in favour of a smaller round adjustable stand. The adjustable stand re-tracks with a click
of a button, folding out from behind the unit allowing the display area of 152MP to be moved upward to a
maximum of 15 degrees. While the existing base does not provide much in terms of height for the 152MP when
placed on a flat desktop surface consumers do have an alternative method of mounting this unit. The rear portion
of the unit includes four mounting holes which can accommodate a VESA mounting bracket to hang this unit on a wall.

The Samsung SyncMaster 152MP TFT-LCD Monitor has a series of small circular external silver buttons
which allow the adjustment of the monitor settings. The buttons are touch sensitive and much smaller
than the Syncmaster 171N TFT-LCD Monitor that I reviewed
last month. Samsung has expanded the amount of menu options to compliment the multimedia features built
into the 152MP. From left to right are selectable options for adjusting or toggling PC use, Picture-In-Picture,
External Video, Audio, Volume Adjustment, Onscreen Menu and Auto Tuning.

At the bottom of the Samsung SyncMaster 152MP TFT-LCD Monitor are two sets of integrated 3W speakers located on the left
and right hand sides. The speakers are powered by an internal stereo amplifier and provide a decent level of sound which
is perfect for standard applications and everyday use. If you are into high performance gaming or want higher sound quality
to compliment watching a movie or TV, it is recommended to use an alternative source. An alternative source can be to pipe
the sound output of this monitor to a stereo system or use high performance desktop speakers from Logitech or Klipsch. For
consumers who wish to use this monitor but keep the noise level to a minimum, Samsung has added an audio port on the left
hand side of the 152MP, which allows a set of headsets to be plugged in.
