Given the simple design of the YY-0221B ‘s front bezel, one of the more definitive characteristics is the front intake vents. These vents total 6 and run from top to bottom and are designed to draw cool air into the case while working in conjunction with the holes present on the drive bays. The bottom left portion of the bezel features a small slit that sits in front of a 120mm intake fan. Users should note that without proper levitation to the YY-0221B case, this front intake would render pointless.

In order to gain any form of access to the YY-0221B’s chassis, the front bezel must be removed. Luckily, this process is quite easy and Yeong Yang has gone to the liberty of using high quality metal clips on the rear of the bezel. This method is most likely implemented as a safety feature yet in my opinion somewhat contradicts the use of the lockable front bezel. The front chassis portion of the YY-0221B has been painted in the same jet black as the exterior and features a single 120mm intake, power and reset switches along with a speaker mount and the LED activity strip. I was pleased to see that the bezel easily snaps on and off without any attached wires which are usually attached to power switches and LEDs. Instead, a simple standoff method is used for the LEDs and power/reset switches.

A stamped 120mm fan mount is located at the front left of the chassis and is one of the two main sources for cooling the motherboard portion of the case. The rear portion of the YY-0221B features a PSU mount, dual 92mm exhaust fan mounts, I/O ATX back plate and expansion slots. The rear has also been painted in jet-black paint to match the side and front panels. The above rear profile shot gives users a better idea of how the chassis has been divided into two compartments.
