The rear portion of the drive chamber houses a set of four 3.5" internal drive cages that are capable of holding two drives per cage for a total of 8. This amount of storage lends itself nicely to an advanced RAID array of multiple drives. A set of twin stamped 92mm exhausts are located directly in front of the drive cages and aid in removing excess heat within the drive chamber. In order to install a 92mm fan in this location, removing of the drive cage is mandatory.

A set of three screws secure the side panel to the chassis and once removed the panel easily swings out easily. One issue I encountered is that due to the design of the holding mechanism, the panel must be turned a full 90 degrees in order to remove it. This requires quite a bit of space and becomes tiresome if the case is opened frequently. The second chamber is the skinnier of the two chambers and is designed to house solely the motherboard and attached PCI/AGP cards. As previously mentioned, there is a single 120mm intake fan located at the lower front of the motherboard chamber. A 92mm exhaust fan mount is also present on the left side panel.

YY-0221B cable routing option

The YY-0221B comes complete with your standard 7 available PCI slots with re-usable covers. In order to route cables from one chamber to another a small square opening is located on the motherboard tray section. Roughly half of this opening is overlapped from the drive cage located in the other chamber. While there is available space towards the top of the case to route cables, this square opening provides a better solution. I would have liked to see a slightly larger opening or some additional openings for routing cables from one chamber to another. Users looking for greater cable routing options will be required to modify the steel chassis to accommodate their needs accordingly.
