Introduction:
The case modification market is saturated with a wide variety of products that can enhance the aesthetic
appeal and functionality of a stock case. There are products which provide illumination, monitoring,
as well as cooling options to keep a high performance system operating efficiently. One of the problems
most consumers face is that each new system introduces an association of cables and connections which
must be managed. Multi-function devices have been on the market for several years and recently there has
been a push to market miniaturized versions that fit conveniently into a 3.5" drive space. Bitsmodding,
a division of Bitspower based out of Taiwan has been marketing a series of case modification specific
products dubbed the X-Panel series. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be evaluating the XP I - 4 Channel
Controller & XP II Mod Panel, products which provide an all-in-one solution for component management.
Specifications:
The Bitspower XP I - 4 Channel Controller & XP II Mod Panel and the first of several devices that
will be introduced to the case modification market. Both products are all-on-solutions for fan

The Bitspower XP I - 4 Channel Controller & XP II Mod Panel arrived in standard retail plastic packaging.
The front portion of each unit displays the product name in a decorative front cover. The rear portion
of the packaging features a small summary of product specifications, features and knob descriptions.

Along with the XP I - 4 Channel Controller & XP II Mod Panel, Bitspower also included its latest Crystal
Lighting Fan (Magic Version) Kit. The kit includes an 80mm quad LED fan, dual position rocker switch,
mounting screws, Molex cables, dual shining fan grills, CCFL fan grill and a dual 12v inverter. The grills
and the fans are interchangeable and work in unison with each other to add both air circulation and
aesthetics to a modified case. The CCFL grill has a diameter of 84mm and brightness of 28000 cd/m2. The
specifications on the package state that this CCFL fan grill has a life time span of 25000 hours.
