Bytewize Computers

Introduction:

Part of the enjoyment that most people get when discovering the wonderful world of case modification is that there are no rules when it comes to planning a project. Innovative enthusiasts have been able to incorporate new and unique items into a standard case modification project and at the same time define new procedures and techniques. The same principles that are applied to standard computer cases have recently also used in the modern day automobile. Dubbed "Car Computers", this type of modification takes on two levels of enthusiasm, the first for custom modification and the second for automotive applications. Xenarc Technologies based in Santa Ana, California is a company that specializes in TFT LCD monitors designed specifically for in-car computing, entertainment, and surveillance needs. The company has been marketing a series of miniature monitors ranging from 5" to 10.5" and has targeted the computer and automotive markets.
