MODTHEBOX would like to thank PrimoChill for sending the Dual and Floppy Bay Reservoirs for review.

PrimoChill

Introduction:

Pre-assembled water cooling kits have simplified the process for overclockers to transition from air based cooling systems to an all purpose water cooling system. The advantage with a pre-assembled kit is that most of the guess work has been eliminated in terms of selecting all the components needed to cool an overclocked computer system. For a few select individuals who prefer the DIY method, there is now an assortment of vendors offering individual parts which can be assembled to make a complete water cooled system that can equally perform just as good as a pre-assembled kit but at half the cost. A reservoir is one of the key components that simplify the process of assembling a home grown water cooling system. A few months ago, MTB profiled the Bayres and more recently the Bayres revision 2.0 from AngelEye Technologies. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be evaluating the PrimoChill Dual and Floppy Bay Reservoirs, two new products which represent the next evolution in water cooling components.

The PrimoChill Dual and Floppy Bay Reservoirs were shipped in a standard double-walled corrugated box with no case manufacturer's logos and images printed on any of the sides. The packaging inside the box was good and consisted of both units wrapped in protected bubble wrap surrounded by polystyrene peanuts.
