The outer headband portion of the Zalman ZM-RS6F Theatre 6 Headphones has been stitched with soft black leather material with the Zalman logo embossed in white lettering. The inside portion has an additional piece of cloth material which allows the ZM-RS6F Theatre 6 to rest comfortably on your head.

One of the standout features of the Zalman ZM-RS6F Theatre 6 Headphones is the adjustable and expandable folding mechanism. The folding mechanism is very useful and enables this product to fold away easily for transport when compared to conventional headphones. The folding mechanism also provides height adjustment which can accommodate the size of any person's head and at the same time make this product comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. Like the headband piece, the left and right earphones are also dressed in the same leather material and are cushioned to completely cover each ear. The earphones have been designed to isolate any and all external noises from ruining the complete Dolby Digital 5.1 experience.

The internal design of the ZM-RS6F Theatre 6 Headphones is the main reason why Zalman is marketing this particular product to the gaming community. As previously mentioned, the ZM-RS6F Theatre 6 Headphones are capable of producing a real surround field as if it is being reproduced from a complete multi-channel speaker system. The name Theatre 6 is derived from the products ability to incorporate 6 audio channels which make up the composition of the Dolby Digital 5.1 enhanced sound. There are a total of six speakers (three on each side) which make up the front, rear and center channels. The combination of all six channels working in unison allows these headphones to produce enhanced spatial and realistic effects.
