Examining the switch itself reveals the PS/2 mouse and keyboard connector on the side and the monitor output on the front. I was surprised to see the lack or any USB connections, eliminating the ability to use USB based keyboards and mice. As a test, I attempted to use a USB to PS/2 adapter without any success. The casing is very rugged and ideal for an environment where the PC Switcher KVM Switch is prone to various bumps and drops. There is also a hook on the side that is made of thick and flexible plastic that re-enforces my initial impression that it would not be easily broken. The hook is for hanging the PC Switcher KVM Switch in an out of the way place, which helps to save precious real estate on your desk.
