MODTHEBOX would like to thank Steven from Bytecc
for sending the Aluminum 3.5" HDD Mobile Enclosure for review.
Introduction:
Have you ever wanted to use that older hard drive but didn’t desire to lose room inside your new case?
Or have you wished for the ability to transfer large amounts of data quickly without any hassle? Or
adding external storage without the high cost associated with it? There are different ways to answer
the following questions and accomplish the above, all with their own advantages and disadvantages.
Memory cards, disk-on-keys and USB memory sticks are all effortless components to carry yet don’t offer
much capacity. External hard drives and CD-RW’s offer more storage capacity but at a greater cost. An
external hard drive enclosure is a variation of the external hard drive products offered on the market.
This solution allows you to use an internal hard drive externally and provides a simple and quick
connection. Consumers are able to select storage capacity requirements and recycle old hardware by
lowering the cost of having external storage. Today in MTB Labs, we will be evaluating an Aluminum
3.5" HDD Mobile Enclosure by Bytecc.
Specifications:
Bytecc has released an external hard drive enclosure that is both easy to use and looks fabulous. The
enclosure is offered in many flavors to accommodate any connection type be it USB 2.0, FireWire, SATA
or even a combination of two connection types. Here are some specifications taken directly from the
