The vertical mounting stand is constructed from plastic and is a dark gray color. The unit is held fairly tight, yet is can be rotated from side to side. I was a little worried when I accidentally tipped the unit but I noticed that the enclosure didn’t fall but merely swiveled. The instructions included in the package were barely written in English, with one phrase and a picture for each of the installation steps. The installation process is not complicated and most users should understand the procedure by using the reference diagrams.
