An inside view of the case interior reveals plenty of room to handle a wide variety of standard and
large sized motherboards. The YY-W201 Pedestal Server Chassis can handle server motherboards in both
the ATX and Extended ATX format with a maximum size of 14" in width. All power requirements are handled
by a Seventeam ST-520HLP 520W Power supply. The Seventeam ST-520HLP is bundled with a high quality
80mm Sunon exhaust fan which should satisfy the requirements of most users.

The external drive bays on the YY-W201 use a simple and effective drive rail system for mounting external
components. The bottom portion of the case features five external 5.25" drive bays which are suitable
for high performance RAID or multi-drive configurations. All the drive cages in the YY-W201 Pedestal Server
Chassis are riveted directly to the chassis.

As previously mentioned, the front mounted ports and LEDs use a series of header cables that must be
connected to a motherboard prior to use. The cables include standard motherboard header pins for Power
LED, HD LED, Power switch, Reset switch, USB, and Audio.

To close off this review, I moved all my existing network server components from an old 4U case to
the Yeong Yang YY-W201 Pedestal Server Chassis. The final configuration is an Intel Server motherboard
with dual Pentium III 650 CPU's, 1GB of PC133 SDRAM, Onstream 30GB Tape Backup, 52X LG CDROM, 1.44"
Panasonic Floppy and a 1MB AMI RAID controller with 4 x 36GB SCSI drives in a RAID5 configuration. I
use SCSI instead of IDE and swapped out the SI-0374A IDE Raid module in favour of a
Cremax MB018 Multi Bay Back Plane Module that
I reviewed last year. This machine is the primary server on my office LAN and does network
authentication, file and print sharing as well as acts as a FTP server. This new configuration has been
operating in my office for the past week with no problems noted in performance or system temperatures.

Conclusion:
The Yeong Yang YY-W201 Pedestal Server Chassis is a perfect example of a server enclosure done right.
The case is very versatile and can be used in dual formats either in a vertical position or converted
to a 5U chassis to be rack mounted. The black and grey exterior is very simplistic balancing good
function with design. Consumers will appreciate all the value added stock options that come with this
case which include the tool-less key entry, 120mm exhaust fan, optional 60mm fan mounts, lockable front
bezel, built-in fan filter, front mounted USB and Audio ports, solid steel construction, 520W PSU,
multiple LEDs and great expansion capabilities. While the YY-W201 does not include a removal motherboard
option there is enough room inside the case interior to handle any type of computer configuration. The
built-in drive rail system is very easy to use and simplifies the process of regular system maintenance.
It would have been nice to see the swivel feet option added as well as the ability to remove the drive
cages. Overall, I was very pleased with this case and award MTB's Seal of Approval and a final score of
9.5 out of 10. I would definitely recommend
this case for those individuals that want a scalable server solution that adds great expansion
capabilities and stock cooling options. If you have any questions regarding this review be sure to
