Introduction:
The roots of case modification have been twisted into almost every possible area allowing for a vast
array of pre-modified components and enclosures at consumers disposal. The custom approach to case
modification allows for a greater level of control and diversity when compared to the pre-modified offerings.
The process of incorporating a window is considered the bare standard for any modification and may be
approached on several levels and methods. Window kits allow for a clean, professional and simple installation
alleviating tedious measurements and trial and error. Today in MTB Labs, we will be evaluating the new
Cutting Edge Radiant Executive Window Kits; a product designed to provide new appeal to a standard case.
Specifications:
The Radiant Executive Window Kits are one of the several different designs and color configurations
being offered from The Cutting Edge website. Consumers have the option of choosing from up to 15 coloured
acrylics along with optional pre-cut blowholes that accommodate 80, 92 and 120mm fans in six different
window styles. The models provided for review are Executive Top and Side models with 80 and 120mm fan
mounts respectively. A new material dubbed Radiant has been adapted to the existing product line, which
combines an iridescent appearance paired with a two-way mirror effect. Here are some specifications taken

The Cutting Edge Radiant Executive Window Kits ship in a standard corrugated box; several layers of
bubble wrap secure the contents. Absent from the window kits is any form of retail packaging. Alternatively,
each kit comes complete in a simple clear bag with the necessary contents packaged.

The Cutting Edge Radiant Executive Window Kits are an all inclusive solution only requiring the user to
use their own tools and panels to complete the installation. Each kit consists of the acrylic window of
choice, a detailed 13 step written instruction manual, one-piece molding, an installation tool, razorblade
and a washer.
