Z-Alien PC Gaming Server accessories

The Z-Alien PC Gaming Server includes an assortment of mounting screws and accessories which included a 500W PSU, mounting screws, two locking keys, spare PCI back-plate, mini-speaker and motherboard mounts. The packaged contents were lacking an assembly manual or chart; the only one found was on the box itself. I believe this is due to a shipping error since I could not find any online reference material on the A-Top website. If you are a new computer novice this may be a little complicated, but for most experienced enthusiasts assembly is very straightforward. Finally there are two pin-out charts included to help you in connecting the USB and IEEE 1394 ports.

The top half of the front bezel contains a swing away door which is in the shape of an alien head. Behind the door are four 5.25" external bays and two 3.5" external bays protected by the same silver colored bezels.

The door also features a chrome lock, which is used to prevent access to the drives. This lock is not very secure and will prove to be a very small deterrent for preventing un-authorized access. I was able to pry it open in the locked position using very little pressure and force. The bottom of the front bezel features ventilation slots for air to be drawn in. Behind the front bezel there is also a filter assembly used to help keep the case free from dust. All the ventilation slots are covered with a decorative black grill.
