On the left hand side of the front bezel there is a small spring mounted cover used to hide two external USB ports. Moving to the top of the chassis there is a very interesting looking module with another spring loaded door on the top. Opening this little door reveals more USB ports, Sound ports and Firewire ports. This combined with the front USB ports will increase the convenience to gamers in adding and removing peripherals.

The masterpiece and what ties the whole case together is the side panel. The window is in the same alien head shape where the eyes are made of black grill. The window is secured using a screw, acrylic washer and smooth rounded nut on the outside. The panel can also be held in place by a tool-less locking mechanism, simply slide the tabs outwards and the panel can be removed. To close slide the tabs towards the inside, this removes the need for any thumbscrews to hold the panel. Thumbscrews are included with the case as a stock option.

The rear portion of the Z-Alien PC Game Server Case includes standard PSU and I/O cutouts as well as the PCI back plane. One very notable feature is the inclusion of a 120mm fan that will be a bonus to those seeking additional cooling. A chrome grill has been used on the inside to protect against wandering fingers. Once the side panel has been removed, one of the first features consumers will notice on this case is the inclusion of a chassis intrusion switch. The chassis intrusion switch will warn you if there has been un-authorized access to the case. In order to enable this option, you need to also have a motherboard that contains an intrusion detection option. By connecting the switch to the appropriate pins on your motherboard, you will receive a warning should anyone try and remove the side panel of the computer.
