MODTHEBOX would like to thank Warren and Tony from SilverStone Technology
for sending the SilverStone SST-TJ01 Temjin Mid-Tower Case and SilverStone SST-FP52 Eudemon Temperature Monitor for review.
Introduction:
Aluminum case enclosures have made a huge impact with computer enthusiasts due to the nature of their
aesthetic design and cooling properties. Lian Li and Cooler Master are two well known companies who have
successfully marketed the aluminum chassis design in North America. While both companies
continue to revise their product lines, many consumers are taking notice of new comer SilverStone Technology.
SilverStone Technology based out of Ontario, California is a company that specializes in unique ID and
mechanical design for all kinds of aluminum alloy products. The company has recently released a series
budget style aluminum cases and add-on case accessories. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be
evaluating the SST-TJ01 Temjin Mid-Tower Case and SilverStone SST-FP52 Eudemon Temperature Monitor.
Specifications:
The SST-TJ01 Mid-Tower is one of several different units available on the SilverStone Technology
website but is marketed under the Temjin brand name. The SST-FP52 Eudemon Temperature Monitor is
the first in a series of add-on modules designed specifically as for the Silverstone product line.
Here are some specifications taken directly from the SilverStone Technology website:

The SilverStone SST-TJ01 Temjin Mid-Tower Case arrived in boxed cardboard packaging with a black
identification labeling on the sides. The case was sealed in protected plastic with 2 pieces of
polystyrene located on both sides of the unit. The SST-TJ01 is made from 6mm thick steel and
includes a milled front aluminum bezel with a swing away door. The case measures approximately
193mm (W) x 430mm (H) x 483mm (D) and weighs 7.3kg, which is slightly heavier than other steel based
mid-tower cases. The extra weight for this particular product is due to the stylish extruded
aluminum front bezel. On one side of the case is a black anodized piece of aluminum that has been
added for contrast, as well as a few openings at the bottom to allow air to be drawn into the chassis.

Across the top right of the door is the Silverstone logo which matches the case perfectly. As an alternative,
the door can be mounted on the opposite side, so it swings out from the left instead of the right. The only
issue that consumers should note is that the logo itself would have to be carefully pulled off and re-applied
the other way. Consumers can also remove the door completely in order to install add-on devices which have knobs
that protrude away from the front bezel.
