Once the door is open, the SST-TJ01 has six 5.25" drive bays ready for optical drives, fan control devices that
do not feature any knobs or toggle switches, as well as two external 3.5" bays for floppy or zip drives. To
help keep the door closed, there is a small magnet screwed to the back of the door inline with one of the screw
heads on the bezel. It isn’t a particularly strong magnet, but it is enough to keep the door in place.

The SilverStone SST-TJ01 Temjin Mid-Tower Case includes a Power and Reset button that are machined from aluminum.
The edges of both buttons has been polished and beveled to match the rest of the front bezel. Below the buttons,
is the location for the Power and HD activity LEDs. Silverstone has opted to use bright blue LEDs instead of the
more traditional green and orange. Below the 3.5" drive bays is a black metal mesh filter which aids in keeping
dust and foreign material from entering inside the case.

On the right side of the front bezel are the USB ports, one IEEE 1394 Firewire port, a Headphone jack and Microphone jack.
The ports are connected via a series of extender cables, which reside inside the case and must be connected to the
appropriate motherboard headers prior to use. Consumers will need to refer to the motherboard manual for proper pin
placement of these cables. The Silverstone website states that the SST-TJ01 has a mirror finish to the black paint job;
however, this particular case’s paint is less than mirror. A bit of final polish and wax should bring it up to a decent
shine. With the rash of pre-modded cases that have flooded the market, it was refreshing to see SilverStone
stay traditional with a stock panel. Consumers who want a view of the interior have the option of
fabricating their own window design.
