The rear portion of the case features a standard PSU mount cutout for mounting a power supply. SilverStone does not include a power supply by default with this case; however, most consumers are aware of their power requirements for their systems and will prefer to purchase one to suit their needs. To keep the weight of the power supply off of the four screws, a bracket has been punched into the motherboard tray.

The middle portion of SilverStone SST-TJ01 Temjin Mid-Tower Case features an ATX I/O plate which is pre-punched for mouse and keyboard, two serial ports and one parallel port. To the right of the ATX I/O plate is the 80mm fan mount. The pre-punched grill is designed in a floral pattern and can be easily removed in order to maximize air flow. Towards the bottom of the case are seven expansion slots available to fit any combination of PCI or AGP expansion cards. To mount the expansion cards, each cover would have to be removed from the outside in order to secure the cards into place.

Once the side panel is removed, a view of the interior reveals that the case can mount standard ATX or mATX motherboards. The SilverStone SST-TJ01 Temjin Mid-Tower Case does not include a pull out motherboard tray to simplify the process of installing system components. The case offers ample room and depending on the type of hardware installed, some people might find it cramped when maintenance work is required. Like most cases on the market, the chassis edges have been bent over to protect against cuts and scrapes, however, I did find a few edges that were not. The upper portion of the interior chassis can hold six 5.25" devices such as CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, fan control devices, etc.
