The rear portion of the 213T offers one single power connector and two position power switch on the left hand side. On the right hand side are ports for connecting standard VGA via a 15-pin D-sub VGA connector and DVI (Digital Visual Interface). This type configuration is ideal for those consumers who prefer dual monitor setups.

As part of the feature set, the Samsung SyncMaster 213T TFT-LCD Monitor has a series of small external grey buttons which allow the adjustment of the monitor settings. By pressing each independent button an on screen menu system guides the user through all the monitor functions. The menu system is well designed, easy to navigate and covers all the basic settings such as vertical and horizontal positioning, OSD (On Screen Display), image size, auto tuning as well as brightness and contrast settings.

Pivot Pro taskbar application

The Pivot Pro software is very easy to use and a complete installation should take less than 10 minutes. Once the application is installed it will reside in the bottom right hand corner of the taskbar. Consumers can activate the menu options with a simple click of the left mouse button. The menu provides selectable options for adjusting the rotate position of the monitor screen. Consumers who own NVIDIA and ATI based video cards will be pleased to know that this functionality is also built into the driver software.
