MODTHEBOX would like to thank Louis from Ahanix
for providing the Black Knight Mid-Tower Case for review.
Introduction:
New innovations in temperature and system monitoring have been very popular with computer enthusiasts for the ease of use
and the ability to monitor a computer's overall performance. Most monitoring devices consist of add-on components and
peripherals that must be purchased separately and integrated into an existing configuration. Selecting the right combination
of devices can be confusing since there is a large assortment of products available on the market offering different features
and options. For consumers looking for an alternative, Ahanix believes it has the answer with a new line economical all-in-one
solution based consumer cases. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be taking a look at the new Ahanix Black Knight Mid-Tower Case,
a new product that combines temperature monitoring and fan control.
Specifications:
The Black Knight Mid-Tower Case is one of many consumer based cases offered by Ahanix and comes complete with all the
functionality found in more expensive models. The specifications of the Black Knight are similar to that of your classic
mid-tower case and are generally suited for consumers looking for a complete cooling solution. Here are
some of the case specifications taken directly from the Ahanix website:

The Black Knight Mid-Tower Case was shipped in two standard double-walled corrugated boxes with the case manufacturer's logos and
images printed on all sides. The packaging inside the box was good with the case sealed in protected plastic with two pieces of
polystyrene located on the left and right hand sides.

Out of the box, my first impressions of the Black Knight Mid-Tower Case were very positive. The entire construction of the case
consists of a steel chassis balanced with black and silver highlights. A futuristic display panel has been integrated in the
middle of the bezel design which provides both real time statistics and fan control function. The case measures approximately
200mm (W) x 430mm (H) x 480mm (D) and is very light weight at 16.2 lbs. The Black Knight Mid-Tower Case supports all full
ATX based motherboard formats and does not include a power supply as a stock option. One of the highlights of the initial
packaging is the excellent kit for the accessories and mounting screws. The kit includes three sets of mounting screws,
speaker module, motherboard standoffs, zip ties, Phillips screw driver and a 2 page installation reference sheet.
