The back portion of the Black Knight Mid-Tower Case features a standard PSU mount, I/O ATX back plate, expansion slots and one 120mm exhaust fan mount. The 120mm fan is positioned adjacent to the I/O ATX back plate and sits behind a stamped grill which inhibits proper airflow. Case modders will want to take a dremmel or jigsaw and clean up this mount to provide the maximum amount of exhaust air circulation to the case. The top panel is attached to the case using a series of rivets that have been drilled into the chassis. The left and right side panels are held in place using a series of chrome thumbscrews.

The middle portion of the case provides an area for mounting an ATX I/O back plate. The mount will fit most standard motherboards and includes all the necessary cut outs for serial, parallel, video, USB, mouse, keyboard, onboard LAN and integrated sound. The Black Knight Mid-Tower Case provides 7 PCI/AGP slots ready for use and depending on the type of motherboard installed; there is enough room to handle any peripheral card configuration. The tabs covering the slots can be easily removed once the motherboard has been mounted.

In order to gain access to the interior chassis requires the removal of 2 thumbscrews on each panel. Once the thumbscrews have been removed the side panels slide off very easily. The interior of the Black Knight Mid-Tower Case includes enough room to install a complete computer system. The case chassis does not include a slide out motherboard tray option but has been designed to support all ATX formats. The chassis consists of light weight steel with most of the edges folded over to prevent exposure of sharp edges. I did note that there were a few sharp edges near the PSU mount and drive cage areas which means consumers should use caution when working with this case.
