Introduction:
The explosive growth of the gaming market has created a new opportunities for consumers looking
to build or purchase the ultimate dream machine. The definition of an ultimate dream machine consists of
high-end computer components balanced with aesthetically pleasing chassis design. There is currently
a small segment of system builders which specialize in the construction of high-end gaming rigs. A
few well known system builders such as Alienware, Falcon Northwest and Voodoo PC have utilized
aluminum based chassis designs from Beantech, Cooler Master, Chieftec, Lian Li and Soldam. Silverstone
Technology is a relatively new player in the case manufacturing market and has developed several unique
chassis designs that cater to budget, home theatre and high-end PC's. The company has recently released its
first flagship aluminum based chassis design marketed under the Temjin Series. Today in the MTB Labs, we
will be evaluating the SilverStone Nimiz SST-TJ03 Aluminum Case.
Specifications:
The SilverStone Nimiz SST-TJ03 Aluminum Case is one of seven different units available on the SilverStone
Technology website. Consumers have the option of selecting from two different colour formats (black and silver)
as well as two different model designs. The Nimiz SST-TJ03 Aluminum Case comes pre-assembled and supports

The SilverStone Nimiz SST-TJ03 Aluminum Case arrived in boxed cardboard packaging with a decorative
Temjim logo located on the front. The cardboard box resembled that of electronic component packaging
used for DVD Players, Stereo Equipment and Hi-Fi VCR's. The case was sealed in protected plastic
with 2 pieces of polystyrene located on both sides of the unit.

The SilverStone Nimiz SST-TJ03 Aluminum Case was bundled with an assortment of accessories which
includes mounting screws, thumbscrews, motherboard stand-offs and a secondary PSU mounting plate.
The secondary PSU mounting plate is for those individuals who want to use a redundant hot-swap
PSU unit with the case. A fold out installation manual
provides step by step assembly of the case including motherboard, fan mounts and system components.
