The upper portion of the front bezel has four 5.25" drive bays with the top bay already occupied. Like the Thermaltake Xaser III VM3000A Series Skull Mid-Tower Case, the LANMOTO uses a Hardcano 10 for its temperature monitoring and fan control. The Hardcano 10 features two USB ports as well as one 1394 IEEE Firewire port. Beside the two 3.5" external drives is the Power and smaller Reset buttons. Above the Power button is the HDD access LED and the Power LED.

The lower front bezel features more ventilation slots to allow fresh air to pass through the case interior. In order to power the front EL strip, Thermaltake has routed the wires through a small hole on the left side of the front bezel.

The Thermaltake VA1000RWA LANMOTO Aluminum Case has a lock on the side of the front bezel, intended at keeping people from getting access to the drives. When the lock is quarter turned, it releases the front door, but another quarter turn will open the bezel. Like other Thermaltake cases, the front bezel is hinged to allow easy access to the drives. Behind the bezel are a front fan filter and a 120mm front fan intake.
