The C-Systems CSP750 Brushless DC Pump consists of two pieces which make up the composition of the unit. There are a series of four pre-drilled holes that penetrate both surfaces and are specifically used for keep the pump assembled and water tight. All four screws can be easily removed using an Allen Key for easy maintenance. During an inspection, I did note that the four screws in each corner of the pump were a little worse for wear and had rusted in some areas. I contacted Dan at C-Systems and was advised that the units that were provided for review are bench pumps that had been submerged underwater for testing and that new pumps will not have this problem. I will be replacing the screws with suitable alternatives before I put this pump into long term use. At the top of the CSP750 are inlet and outlet ports that are CNC helical machined to 1/4" NPT. This provides for the use of both plastic and metal tubing adapters, typically without the need of additional sealing. Consumers have the option of using 1/4" NPT adapters for configuring a water cooling system to use 3/8" or 1/2" ID tubing.

Once separated, you get a good idea in terms of the overall design of the C-Systems CSP750 DC Brushless Pump. The CSP750 like rival DC based pumps such as the Eheim 1046 uses a SKC DC brushless motor and impeller that is located in the center of the unit. The impeller is much larger than what is found on traditional pumps and is specifically designed to provide maximum flow under low restrictive conditions. Located around the impeller is a reusable black O-ring that provides a water tight seal when the CSP750 is in use. The motor has a low power rating at 1.68 watts and a life time expectancy of 50,000 hours continuous use. One of the great features of the CSP750 is an adjustable pump housing that allows the outlet port to be moved to any one of four positions. This simplifies the process of having to adjust tubing inside a case interior in order to custom fit all the water cooling components.

As previously mentioned the CSP-X 2 configuration uses the same CSP750 modules but consists of two pumps to handle multi-cooling setups. At the base of the CSP-X2 is a hard isolated mount that reduces pump vibration and allows this unit to be secured to the bottom of any case chassis. To simplify mounting this unit C-Systems has included a drilling template to complete the installation process. There are a total of four screws used in conjuction with bolts to keep the pump housing secure.
