MODTHEBOX would like to thank Chris from The Cutting Edge
for sending the Tsunami Window Reservoir for review.
Introduction:
Case modification has had a significant impact on the consumer market that most manufacturers are re-designing
their product lines for mass appeal. It is not surprising that you will often see different concepts
merged together to come up with new products. Some manufacturers are good at developing their own original
concepts while others base their products on ideas and theories taken from the case modding community.
The Cutting Edge based out of Houston, Texas first received worldwide attention with a simple popular
product known as the PSU Window Mod Kit which MTB reviewed back in July 2002. The PSU Window Mod Kit
consisted of an acrylic shell that could easily allow you to see the contents of your PSU. The company
has been busy for the past two years and has recently developed a new window and water cooling product
marketed under the name of Tsunami. Today in the MTB's Labs, we will be taking an exclusive look at the
Tsunami Window Reservoir, a traditional window kit designed for water cooling applications.
Specifications:
The Tsunami Window Reservoir is one of the three different kits currently offered on The Cutting Edge
website. Consumers have the option of selecting from three different colour formats which include Clear,
Neon Blue and Neon Green. In order to cater to consumers who have different barb fittings for their
existing water cooling configurations, there is an option to select 3/8" or 1/2" fittings during the
initial purchase. Here are some specifications taken directly from the Cutting Edge website:

The Cutting Edge Tsunami Window Reservoir Kits shipped in a standard double-walled corrugated box with
shipping labels located on the front of the package. The packaging inside the box was excellent and
consisted of several sheets of protective bubble wrap located on the top and bottom of the kit. The
Cutting Edge was kind enough to send all three kits, but for the purposes of this review I will only
be using the UV Blue Tsunami Window Reservoir Kit.
