Introduction:
A few years ago a regular standard steel based case was the norm amongst computer enthusiasts for the simple
functionality provided for installing a complete computer system. As more individuals experimented with different
computer configuration options, many realized that existing cases were inadequate for normal day to day operation.
Case manufacturers were very quick to adapt and began to release a wide array of different styles and sizes using
the properties of standard steel and aluminum. SilverStone Technology is a relatively new player in the case
manufacturing market and has capitalized on the consumer market by developing several unique chassis designs that
cater to budget, home theatre and high-end PC's. The company has recently released its series of budget style
cases marketed under the Temjin Series brand name. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be evaluating the SilverStone
SST-TJ02 Glacier Mid-Tower Case.
Specifications:
The SilverStone SST-TJ02 Glacier Mid-Tower Case is one of several different units available on the SilverStone
Technology website. Consumers have the option of selecting from two different colour formats (black and silver)
as well as two different model designs. The SilverStone SST-TJ02 Glacier Mid-Tower Case comes pre-assembled and

The SilverStone SST-TJ02 Glacier Mid-Tower Case arrived in a standard double-walled corrugated box with a
decorative Temjin logo located on all sides. The packaging inside the box was adequate with the case sealed
in protected plastic with 2 pieces of polystyrene located on the left and right hand sides.

The SilverStone SST-TJ02 Glacier Mid-Tower Case was bundled with an assortment of accessories which
includes mounting screws, thumbscrews, motherboard stand-offs, speaker plug, zip ties, USB pin-out diagram,
and two pairs of security keys. A fold out installation manual
provides step by step assembly of the case including motherboard, fan mounts, drive rails and system
components.
