MODTHEBOX would like to thank Anand from ADPmods for sending the assortment of Artic Cooling Products for review.

Introduction:

The importance of good air circulation inside a computer case can provide some cost effective benefits in terms of prolonging the life of system components. Air cooling principles are still used by a majority of computer enthusiasts as a means to control high system temperatures. Standard cooling fans are the cheapest solution for removing unwanted heat and providing system stability. The consumer market is currently saturated with a wide variety of "off the shelf" cooling products available for improving air circulation. Recently, there has been a shift to make many cooling products appeal more to the masses by integrating case modification attributes. Artic Cooling based out of Pfäffikon, Switzerland is a relatively new company to the North American market. The company has recently released a series of cooling products marketed under the Artic Cooling brand name, which cover all aspects of component cooling. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be evaluating the new Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer Revision 3, Arctic Fan Pro TC and Arctic Fan Pro 2L.

Specifications:

The Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer Revision 3, Arctic Fan Pro TC and Arctic Fan Pro 2L are all pre-assembled products that include all the necessary components for installation. Included in the packaging is and assortment of items which includes mounting screws, mounting brackets, adapter cables, thermal compound, case badges and a set of instructions. As an alternative Arctic Cooling also provides PDF versions of its products installation instructions on its website. The included instructions are translated in two languages (Swedish and English) and are accompanied by a set of reference diagrams. I found the documentation to be very easy to understand and most users should be able to complete the installation of all the products in less than 30 minutes.
