To power the FX Game Pad's multi-color LED light system, FlexiGlow has provided a 5ft extension cord with a USB connector. The cabling provides enough clearance to connect this product to any PC that is positioned on top of a desk or on the floor. The mousing surface is very smooth and has been designed to work all optical and ball mice. The FlexiGlow website does not go into detail regarding the material used but it does resemble black textured plastic. At the top of the FX Gaming Pad is the FlexiGlow logo as well as a small rubber button that controls the lighting.

The composition of the FlexiGlow FX Game Pad consists of a bubbled acrylic base combined with the mousing surface material. By flipping the product on its opposite side reveals two areas where the acrylic base has been cut to route cabling for the USB cable, control switch and the internal LEDs.

The FlexiGlow FX Game Pad includes four clear plastic feet positioned in each corner to keep the product stationary when placed on a flat surface. The package also includes an extra pair of feet should the originals become damaged and require replacing. With the default four feet, I did note that the FX Game Pad does have a tendency to flip upward if too much weight is applied on the front edge. The problem doesn't happen to often and I believe its all dependant on how you position your hand. The installation of the FX Game Pad is a straightforward process that only requires plugging the product into any spare USB port.
