Interesting to note, the X-Blade emblem itself isn’t finished the same as the rest of the chrome plated work. It changes colour depending on the angle and the mesh grill located behind the emblem lights up when power is applied. The lower portion of the front bezel sports two chrome grills used for the front intake.

At the very bottom of the front bezel, hidden behind a hinged flap are two USB 2.0 ports, one IEEE1394 (Firewire) port, one headphone and one microphone jack. The ports are connected via a series of extender cables which reside inside the case and must be connected to the appropriate motherboard headers prior to use. Consumers will need to refer to their motherboard manual for proper pin placement of these cables.

The side panel incorporates the same design aesthetics as the front bezel. The side panel has accents that consist of the same chromed plastic and is secured directly to a piece of acrylic that is located behind the side panel. A series of plastic plugs have been positioned around the perimeter of the left side panel and screwed in from behind to keep the window in place. Mounted on the acrylic is an 80mm blue LED fan. Searching the A-Top website did not turn up any specifications of RPM, CFM rating or sound level. The side panel fan works like the front mounted emblem and changes colour depending on the angle viewed.
