From the back, the X-Blade resembles most mid-tower cases on the market. The rear portion of the case features a standard PSU mount cut out for mounting a power supply. The deluxe version of the X-Blade case does come with a 450 watt power supply which should keep most users happy. As with most cases, a bracket has been punched into the motherboard tray to help stabilize the power supply and spread the weight off of the four screws.

The middle portion X-Blade features an ATX I/O plate which is pre-punched for mouse and keyboard, two serial ports and one parallel port. To the right of the ATX I/O plate is the 120mm blue LED fan. Like the side fan, no information can be found on the A-Top website. The grill area has been completely removed and a wire fan grill has been mounted to keep small objects from getting in the way of the spinning blades. Towards the bottom of the case are seven expansion slots available to fit any combination of PCI or AGP expansion cards.

Once the side panel has been removed the interior reveals plenty of room for expansion in the drive bay area. There is a total of five external 5.25" drive bays with the bundled tool kit taking up one of the slots. The tool kit holds a small bag of assorted screws, a small piezo buzzer, and all the necessary rails to hold the drives in place. I did notice that installing and removing them would mean the front bezel would have to be removed. Thankfully, screw holes are available to make the installation more permanent.
