MODTHEBOX would like to thank Debby from Logisys Computer for providing the Blue Armor Window Case for review.

Logisys Computer

Introduction:

The computer industry has reached a point now where it is almost as much of a task now to find a plain beige case as it was to find a feature rich case three years ago. The market has changed, as have the consumers. For the same price as a standard beige case, consumers can run to the local computer shop and pick up a colourful feature rich case. Because of the growing desire to have a spruced up case, case manufacturers like Logisys Computer are pumping out cases with high quality finishes, bigger fan mounts, temperature displays, and enough flare to satisfy the most demanding consumers. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be evaluating the new Blue Armor Window Case from Logisys Computer, a mid-tower case injected with a few healthy doses of pizzazz.

Specifications:

The Blue Armor Window Case is a mid-tower case featuring a high gloss finish, a UV reactive acrylic side window, front USB and audio ports, a front bezel constructed largely of chrome, and a blue backlit LCD temperature display mounted on the front bezel. Here are some of the case specifications taken directly from the Logisys Computer website:

The Blue Armor Window Case arrived directly from Logisys Computer packaged in a double-walled corrugated cardboard box. The front and back of the box display a simple diagram of the case design featuring the side window and front bezel design. The sides of the box lists the case dimensions, model number, and color selection.

A clear protective bag was wrapped around the case which was then packaged securely between two pieces of formed polystyrene. Small cardboard pieces were also stuffed between the front and back of the box to keep the case secure. A clear plastic strip was affixed to the chrome accents on the front bezel for added scratch protection during shipping. Out of the box, my initial impression of the case was positive. The Blue Armor Window Case measures approximately 200mm (W) x 440mm (H) x 500mm (D) and supports a maximum motherboard size of 12" x 9.5". The case includes a high quality finish and is accented with chrome highlights on the front bezel.
