MODTHEBOX would like to thank Jeff from Xoxide
for providing the Xoxide Acrylic Cube Computer for review.
Introduction:
The Small Form Factor platform has revitalized the computer industry offering consumer's alternatives
to designing and implementing newer computing platforms. One of the significant advantages to the SFF
platform is the full implementation of a large scale system but at half the size. There are several
manufacturers such as Antec, A-Open, Biostar, Chaintech, FIC, Iwill, MSI, Shuttle, and Soltek who have
flooded the market with different SFF solutions for both AMD and Intel. For consumers who prefer
the DIY approach; Xoxide has recently introduced one of the very first custom acrylic SFF alternatives.
Today in the MTB Labs, we will be taking an exclusive look at the new Xoxide Acrylic Mini Cube Computer;
a product designed as an all-in-one SFF solution.
Specifications:
The Xoxide Acrylic Cube Case is a top of the line clear case made for computer enthusiasts who want to
build their systems in a case that allows for stunning aesthetics, full functionality, high airflow,
strong design, and mobility. The Cube was designed to bridge the gap that exists between new "mini"
cases on the market with limited upgradeability. Here are some of the case specifications taken directly

Out of the box, the Xoxide Acrylic Cube Computer is very well constructed and manufactured using .236"
cell cast acrylic. The structural integrity of the acrylic is impressive and the focus of this miniature
design is an almost replica of similar SFF cube designs. The case measures approximately 10.5" x 10.5"
x 10.5" (DxWxH) and only supports Micro ATX motherboards. Xoxide has marketed this specific product to
appeal to consumers utilizing small form factor components, which are suitable for LAN events or HTPC
(Home Theatre PC) style applications. The Xoxide Acrylic Cube Computer does not come equipped with a
stock power supply and consumers will be required to purchase this item as a separate add-on. Bundled
with the case was an assortment of accessories which included the following:
1 x Xoxide Acrylic Cube Computer
8 x CDROM screws
4 x Case feet
8 x Motherboard stand-offs
1 x Power cable
12 x Case fan screws
20 x PSU, HD and case screws
Absent from the package was any sort of instruction manual or reference diagrams.
