In order to gain access to the interior of the Ahanix D.vine 4 Home Theater Series PC Case, a series of four screws must be removed from the bottom of the case. With the screws loosened, the upper shell easily slides back and can be removed. A single "U" style panel is used similar to that found on the majority of desktop style cases. I didn’t note any additional airflow vents or fan mounts on either side of the chassis. The front bezel of the Ahanix D.vine 4 Home Theater Series PC Case is constructed from an impressive thick aluminum plate that has been lifted and secured to the chassis to allow for a small amount of airflow.

With the top panel removed, the interior of the Ahanix D.vine 4 Home Theater Series PC Case takes on a rather standard layout and has been painted matte black to match the exterior of the case. The overall interior layout is comfortable and has been designed to accommodate ATX and mATX motherboard configurations. A thick bar runs the depth of the case acting as a structural support for those wishing place monitors on top of the case. Users should note that the Ahanix D.vine 4 Home Theater Series PC Case does not ship with a power supply but can be purchased and installed prior to shipping at an extra cost. The right hand side houses the 5.25" drive cage that can accommodate two external and one internal 5.25" device.

The overall right portion of the Ahanix D.vine 4 Home Theater Series PC Case chassis demonstrates a very poor use of space. Foremost, only a total of two internal 3.5" drives can be installed via the drive cage. This comes as a major drawback as there are no additional mounting areas. The drive bracket could have been easily extended to the floor of the chassis to allow for a few more drives to be installed. Secondly, a large vacant area directly beside the drive cage could have easily been used to implement an identical additional drive cage which would have brought the total capacity to 4 drives. Consumers looking to use a high storage system in this unit will be forced to use fewer high capacity drives. The power and reset switches have been designed onto a small PCB and located towards the bottom corner complete with the necessary headers.
