MODTHEBOX would like to thank Vivian from DFI
for providing the DFI LAN Party Pro875B Motherboard for review.
Introduction:
Intel and AMD's migration to the 64-bit computing platform has shaken up the computer industry by
offering a wide selection of newer and faster processors. Manufacturers caught in the middle of the CPU
wars often have to cater to new emerging standards and formats by revising their product lines to meet
consumer need. While many hardcore users are willing to spend ridiculous amounts of money on upgrades,
there is a significant amount of budget conscience consumers purchasing second generation hardware
components for system builds. Since 1981, DFI has been offering a complete line-up of advanced
motherboards as well as graphics solutions and Applied Computing Platforms. The company has had great
success with their LAN Party series of motherboards for the PC platform and has recently released a
revision to their PRO series. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be evaluating the DFI LAN Party Pro875B
Motherboard.
