A small ventilation area works on conjunction with an 80mm interior fan. With front extended ports providing a much more convenient solution for portable media devices, a series of IEEE 1394, USB 2.0 and Audio jacks are easily accessible from the top portion of the MGE Extreme Gamer Quantum Case and can be hidden when not in use. The overall cooling performance of the top ventilation area is debatable due to the small holes and bulky construction.

The rear portion of the MGE Extreme Gamer Quantum Case features a standard PSU mount, a stamped 92mm exhaust and designated area for ATX I/O plate installation and expansion slots. Each panel is easily removable via two chrome thumbscrews while the top panel has been directly riveted to the chassis and will require modification to remove. Using a rotary tool, the stamped rear exhaust grill can be removed to maximize airflow.

Each side panel of the MGE Extreme Gamer Quantum Case features an oversized circular vent that is designed to provide fresh airflow to the motherboard and associated components. Once the side panels have been removed, the MGE Extreme Gamer Quantum Case reveals a spacious interior that should be more than adequate when installing a variety of system configurations. As previously stated, the interior portion of the MGE Extreme Gamer Quantum Case is constructed from SECC 1.0mm thick steel. Being targeted as a gamer oriented case, the move to an aluminum construction would lend itself better to cooling performance and various transportation scenarios.
