The Arctic Cooling Silentium T2 Case includes a removable black plastic base that serves two general
purposes. The first is to act as a counter balance supporting the weight of the case and keeping it
stationary when placed on a flat surface. The second is to act as a duct for air circulation for the
bottom exhaust and intake ventilation holes. During my evaluation, I did notice that the Silentium T2
can easily be shifted out of the plastic base when the case is moved. It would have been nice if there
was an option to lock the base into place once it was secured to the bottom of the case.

The back portion of the Arctic Cooling Silentium T2 Case includes a custom PSU mount, I/O ATX back plate,
expansion slots, and dual 80mm fans. The dual 80mm fans act as rear exhaust fans and have been
positioned in the top portion of the case where the PSU would normally reside. The Silentium T2 features
only one removable panel located on the left hand side. Both the right side and top panel are riveted
directly to the case chassis. An ATX I/O back plate is provided which will fit most standard motherboards
and includes all the necessary cut outs for serial, parallel, video, USB, mouse, keyboard, onboard LAN
and integrated sound.

The Arctic Cooling Silentium T2 Case comes equipped with plenty of expansion room in the form of 7
PCI/AGP slots ready for use. The tabs covering the slots can be easily removed once the motherboard has
been mounted. The PSU mount consists of a stand alone AC power plug that has been wired to a custom
350W Seasonic PSU located in the front portion of the case.
