Out of the box, my first impressions of the X-Woofer 3D Vibro Woofer Speaker were both skeptical and
mixed. The premise for this particular product is to be a wearable audio solution that can be connected
to various sound appliances such as PC's, DVD players, CD players and MP3 Players. The overall design
of the X-Woofer breaks away from traditional desktop speakers and has been engineered to be a worn on
your shoulders without the need to install rear speakers to enjoy 3D sound. The composition of the
X-Woofer consists of a two piece silver coloured plastic housing with gold highlights that measure
approximately 285mm X 235mm X 14mm. The X-Woofer is very light weight at 1.3kg and can be tucked away
into back pack for easy transport.
At the rear of the X-Woofer are two integrated speakers and vibration units. The speakers have a low
output range of 1W + 1W per channel and vibration output range 2W + 2W per channel. Overall sound
frequency response is 450Hz - 20KHz and sound impedance is 8 Ohms which is slightly lower than the
16 Ohms used in the Zalman ZM-RS6F Theatre 6 Headphones
that I reviewed 3 years ago.

The X-Woofer 3D Vibro Woofer Speaker includes a silver coloured control unit which allows consumers
to adjust both volume and vibration levels. Towards the top right hand side of the unit is a 2-position
ON/OFF switch and on the left a LED that provides a visual confirmation that the unit is ready for use.

At the bottom of the controller unit is a 5-pin plug that allows consumers to directly connect the
X-Woofer 3D Vibro Woofer Speaker. The cable length is generous at 1.8 meters and provides enough length
for consumers to place this unit on a table or floor while sitting comfortably on a chair or sofa.
