The back portion of the Razotech Blizzard Mid-Tower Computer Case features a standard PSU mount, I/O ATX back plate, expansion slots, and a single 120mm fan mount. The top and side panels are secured to the case chassis using a series of 6-32 mounting screws. All the panels can be separated from the case chassis with ease which makes this case very modification friendly. The middle portion of the case provides an area for mounting an ATX I/O back plate. The mount will fit most standard motherboards and includes all the necessary cut outs for serial, parallel, video, USB, mouse, keyboard, onboard LAN and integrated sound.

The Blizzard comes equipped with plenty of expansion room in the form of 7 PCI/AGP slots ready for use. The tabs covering the slots can be easily removed once the motherboard has been mounted. On the left side portion of the case is a pre-modified mesh window. The window deploys no complicated design and uses 8 rivets to support a plastic frame and air filter.

A closer inspection of the left side panel reveals three different configuration options for a bundled air duct. In the default configuration, the air duct and filter are positioned directly over the location of the CPU but consumers can move this to a lower position if you wish to concentrate on GPU or peripheral card cooling. The two unused mounts can also accommodate an 80mm fan if consumers wish to add more additional cooling. To gain access inside the case requires removing two sets of screws and gently pulling the side panel backward with the finger clip. Once extended far enough, the side panel slips off with no problems. Inside the case is an adequate amount of room to install a complete computer system. The case does not include a slide out motherboard option which is standard with most of the pre-modified based cases on the market.

All power requirements are handled by a 400W L&C LC-B400ATX Pentium 4 compatible PSU. The name of the company which manufacturers this particular PSU model is Deer Computer LTD. The 400W L&C LC-B400ATX should be sufficient to meet most consumers’ needs, but it all depends on the type of computer configuration being used and personal preference. Deer based power supplies are mostly used with OEM manufacturers and have developed a reputation for being sub-par in terms of performance and reliability. I personally would not use this power supply with any of my systems and recommend purchasing a third party alternative.
