MODTHEBOX would like to thank Eileen from Samsung Canada
for sending the SyncMaster 915N TFT-LCD Monitor for review.
Introduction:
Bulky CRT's continue to be the norm for many computer users due to the low cost factor and affordability.
For the avid gamer, transporting a large CRT unit to a LAN has its disadvantages due to the overall
size and weight. In an effort to assist the gaming community, many manufacturers have created gaming
specific products ranging from transport systems to specialized mousing surfaces. Samsung Electronics
has been at the forefront of the consumer market developing a wide range of CRT and LCD-TFT products
based on its popular SyncMaster brand name. The company has recently released a series of analog monitors
designed specifically for platform gaming. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be evaluating the Samsung
SyncMaster 915N LCD Monitor, a mid-range LCD that offers sleek looks and low refresh rate.
Specifications:
The 915N TFT-LCD Monitor is one of many available LCD based monitors available from Samsung Canada. This
product is part of the popular SyncMaster series and is a mid-range monitor with support for standard VGA.
