The AquaGate Mini R80 comes bundled with a Cooler Master branded 80mm fan and chrome wire grill. The Cooler
Master A8025-38RB-3EA-L1 80mm fan is capable of pushing 53.499 CFM at 1800-3800 RPM's with a noise level of
21.3-39.2 dbA. Attached to the base of the 80mm is the standard red (12V) and black (ground) wires connected
to an adjustable rheostat. The rheostat allows consumers to adjust the RPM levels of the 80mm for either
silent performance or maximum cooling.

The Cooler Master AquaGate Mini R80 can be classified as a universal liquid cooling product with the inclusion
of several retention plates for both the AMD and Intel platform. The retention plates support Socket P4 478/LGA
775, Socket Xeon 603/604, Socket AMD A/754, and Socket AMD 939/940. The installation of each plate requires
mounting screws that are attached to the R80 water block as well as a backplate that is secured underneath the
motherboard. A Hexagon wrench is also included in the package that allows you to apply the appropriate contact
pressure during the installation phase based on your CPU configuration

One unique aspect of the Cooler Master AquaGate Mini R80 is the inclusion of an integrated pump and reservoir
housing. This all-in-one solution works well with case interiors tight on free space. There are two
outlets that are secured to 1/4" black tubing with metal hose clamps. A third outlet has been sealed off with
a plastic cap and metal hose clamp. My assumption on the third outlet is that it was used by Cooler Master as
a fill port to prime the system prior to packaging. According to Cooler Master the coolant inside the pump and
reservoir housing is good for approximately 2 years. The specifications on the pump are somewhat disappointing
delivering only 160 L/H or 42 GPH with a maximum head lift of 1.5m. The pump is rated for 12V and uses very
little power at 7.2 watts. The Cooler Master AquaGate Mini R80 includes a solid copper water block which is
capable of being mounted on both AMD and Intel platforms. The water block has been sealed which makes it
difficult to actually get an idea of the internal design. The surface of the water block has been machined smooth
and is not as reflective as previous water blocks that I have reviewed in the past.
